The Inside Line #41: A fresh start, a young Bull and a new role

TILI Logo PrintIt’s the dawn of a new Formula One year, and the start of the second season of ‘The Inside Line’ – and I’m thrilled to be joining Peter Wraith, producer Tim Nelson and the rest of the crew at Intrepid Production to play a part in bringing the only dedicated half-hour show completely committed to F1 to Australian TV again in 2014.

As it did in its debut year last season, ‘The Inside Line’ will take you to the beating heart of the world’s most prestigious and technologically-advanced motor racing series. Produced weekly, ‘The Inside Line’ takes you behind the curtain with all 11 teams, looks at the news and the newsmakers in the sport, and focuses on the men and their machines set to take part in this year’s F1 world championship, which starts in just six weeks in Australia.

It’s a packed Episode 41 to kick off the new year. We’ll wrap up a chaotic and sometimes confusing first pre-season test from Jerez in Spain last week, and look back at the enormous amount of off-season news including Bernie Ecclestone’s upcoming trial. Plus there’s a revealing insight on the driver with the biggest grin and the best pizza-making skills (yes, really) in F1, Daniel Ricciardo, as he prepares for life at the sharp end of the grid at Red Bull Racing.

Check out ‘The Inside Line’ in Australia on SPEED TV Australia (Foxtel/Austar channel 512) at 7pm AEDT on Wednesday February 5 – and be sure to set that Foxtel IQ to ‘series link’ so you don’t miss any of the 45 episodes scheduled for 2014.
